Dentsply Sirona is hosting a webinar on 9 April at 7 p.m. CEST exploring how orthodontics and restorative dentistry can be combined to support predictable smile transformations. The session will take place on DS Academy Campus, the company's global clinical education platform.

Ortho-restorative workflow structure

Dr Mona Patel, a US general dentist, will outline a structured approach in which clear aligner treatment is used to establish the functional and aesthetic foundation for restorative procedures. By correcting malocclusion and optimising tooth alignment first, clinicians can place minimally invasive direct composite restorations to refine tooth shape, size and colour. The webinar will use clinical examples to discuss common post-orthodontic restorative procedures, including diastema closure, black triangle correction, lateral incisor lengthening and tooth reshaping.

Learning outcomes and registration

Participants will learn how orthodontic treatment corrects malocclusion and creates a sound basis for aesthetic dentistry, how to implement an ortho-restorative workflow in practice, and how to apply composite techniques commonly used after orthodontic treatment. The programme will address treatment sequencing and the integration of orthodontic and restorative steps in comprehensive smile treatment. Registration is free of charge, and the session offers one continuing education credit after successfully completing a post-webinar quiz. More information is available at campus.dentsplysirona.com.
