The European Aligner Society opened its seventh annual scientific congress in Brussels on 17 April 2026. Over three days, the event brings together orthodontists, manufacturers and researchers to discuss aligner technology innovation and clinical practice, marking a decade since EAS was founded in Vienna in 2016.

Aligner technology and clinical innovation

The congress features AlignerLab 3.0, a dedicated day showcasing the latest advances in aligner technology through Innovation Lab presentations and workshops led by sponsoring companies. The main scientific programme delivers two days of plenary lectures, short communication sessions and coverage of contemporary clinical strategies and recent developments in aligner orthodontics. A new Ortho Vision programme on Saturday highlights emerging orthodontic companies and their innovations, aiming to connect technology providers with clinicians, researchers and industry partners to advance treatment outcomes and patient experience.

Practice leadership and professional development

The Practice Excellence Track targets clinical teams, combining science, management and teamwork to develop leadership, team coordination and operational efficiency in aligner-focused practices. EAS positions the congress as the primary continuing professional development event for aligner orthodontists and allied professionals across Europe and beyond. Since 2016, the society has hosted congresses in Venice, Malta, Porto, Turin, Valencia, Rhodes and Seattle, building an international community focused on raising awareness of aligner treatment effectiveness and establishing high clinical standards underpinned by research.
