Dentistry.co.uk is hosting a webinar on managing complex root canal anatomy, taught by Afzal Haque, a specialist endodontist based in Manchester. The course targets general dental practitioners who want to improve their ability to diagnose, navigate and treat challenging root canal systems using evidence-based techniques.

What the course covers

Attendees will learn to identify characteristics of complex root canal anatomy, apply modern instrumentation techniques to prepare difficult cases, and develop decision-making frameworks for choosing between treatment and referral. The course combines practical strategies with clinical confidence-building, designed to make endodontics more predictable for practitioners working in general practice.

About the instructor

He holds MEndo specialist accreditation from the Royal College of Edinburgh and is registered on the GDC specialist list for endodontics. He now runs a private general and specialist endodontic referral practice in Manchester and teaches postgraduate students on the MSc endodontic programme at Manchester Dental Hospital.
