KNMT Offers Free Webinar on Dental Practice Visitatie Process
Visitatie counts toward KRT registration requirements: the webinar and ZZP days on 5 June and 14 October offer a direct route to compliance.
The KNMT is offering a free webinar explaining the visitatie process for Dutch dental practices. The session covers how to prepare for a visitatie, what the process involves, and what different forms of visitatie exist. It also addresses what participation delivers for individual dentists and their practices.
Visitatie is a peer review process through which dental professionals can reflect on their care delivery in a structured and confidential setting. Completing a visitatie counts toward one of the registration requirements of the KRT, and participation can also prepare a practice for future certification.
The webinar starts at 19:30 and runs for approximately one hour. Questions can be put directly to Lesly Bouwman, who has coordinated KNMT Visitatie since 2012. For self-employed dentists, the KNMT is also organising two ZZP Visitatiedagen at its Utrecht location: Friday 5 June and 14 October. Each day includes being reviewed in the morning or afternoon and acting as a peer reviewer yourself. Capacity is limited to 16 participants per day.
