What we do

Bitewing covers dental news across Europe. We focus on regulation, clinical research, dental technology, workforce developments, and practice trends. The site exists for dentists and dental professionals who want to stay current without monitoring a dozen separate sources.

How it works

We monitor a fixed set of sources: professional associations, regulators, trade publications, and scientific publishers. New articles are collected daily. Every summary is original writing based on the source material — we do not copy or republish third-party text. Every article links back to the original source.

Dutch-language content appears under /nl/. European and English-language news appears under /en/.

Sources

Sources are selected on editorial criteria: reliability, relevance to dental professionals, and publication frequency. We monitor professional associations, regulators, trade publications, and scientific publishers across Europe. We are open to adding sources that meet these criteria — email us.

Editorial independence

No advertorials. No unedited press releases. Coverage is never offered in exchange for payment or placement. If we write about a product or company with which we have a commercial relationship, we say so.
